BFBC2 High Ping Game Strategy

You have some battlefield friends who live in other side of the planet and when ever they join a server its ping its always more than 300 or your ISP is a very rude one and they provide you with very high ping. But don’t worry there is always a silver lining on the dark cloud. I have the same high ping problem. So i figured out this strategy. I hope it can help you.

NEVER engage enemy at close range. You’ll die before you even pull the trigger. The best class during High Pings is RECON. But recon is only good if you play with a semi-automatic sniper. Bolt action snipers will never hit and even if they do, you won’t get one shot kill. Best sniper rifles are :- Type 88 and SUV. Remain at long distances. Never follow other recons, always go solo. Two-Three shots with those snipers are enough. I figured this strategy yesterday because my ping was over 400 and i was still able to increase my k/d ratio from 0.69 to 0.70.  I know this is a noob k/d ratio but it is still a proof. And if you think recon is tough for you then pick up any weapon , just equip them with the long range scope and engage from a distance. I hope this is helpful.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 Unrecoverable Crash Issue Possible Fixes.

Ok guys, we know that BFBC2 is an awesome game, but it has some very frustrating issues. One of them is the unrecoverable freeze problem, to recover from which you need to force restart your PC. Even the latest update released in July 1st week of 2010 has not been able to fix the issue. This problem is due to a hardware conflict of Intel Motherboards running on onboard sound card. So i’m gonna list some fixes here.

100% FIX:-
This fix requires the purchase of a Sound Card, only know brand known till now to fix this issue is CREATIVE. Buy a creative sound card and install it. This will fix the problem for good guaranteed.

“Possible” Fixes:-
1)Right Click on the small speakers, located on the bottom right corner of the desktop, icon on the taskbar and click on Sounds. Go to Recording Tab and disable headphones, line-in, and stereo mixing. Please note that you may also need to enable one or two of these. This is very random for all systems.
2)Open Realtek HD Audio Manager and go to stereo mixing tab and set the Default Format to DVD quality. If it does not fix the issue then try using another format.

Workaround:-
Right Click on the small speakers, located on the bottom right corner of the desktop, icon on the taskbar and click on Sounds. Go to Recording Tab and disable everything. Then go to Playback tab and disable everything. This will allow you the game perfectly fine, only con is that you won’t be able to hear any sound. To enable the sound again go to the playback and recording tab and enable what you disabled. Even i’m playing this way.

NOTE: When you go the Recording tab or playback tab you may need to right click on the empty space on the tab and enable “Show Disabled Devices” and “Show Disconnected Devices”.
